Will They Leave? – That Is Exit Your Site
Probably, this is a problem that all internet marketers must address when planning for traffic to their site or blog. A lot of the traffic will look around for a bit and then exit. But that is not what you want to happen.
What if you could capture some of that exit traffic? If you could you might drastically increase the number of visitors that fill out the opt-in box on your site/blog. What is the key to make this happen?
When someone tries to leave your site, they become part of what is known as exit traffic. Now if you could capture part of that exit traffic you would be able increase your conversion rate. This is where using exit traffic scripts come into play.
Many website visitors will exit your site shortly after reaching it, without really taking a good look at what you have posted including your offers. Some internet marketers estimate that as much as 95% of your visitors will leave and never really know what your site is all about.

If your exit traffic script does not contain an opt-in box, then it should immediately redirect your visitor to some special offer page. This way you get a second chance for the visitor to stick around and take a look at your offer.

Great point about increasing sign ups and conversions by having an exit strategy. I’ve seen these type of exit pages and they do catch my attention, they may offer a discount or free offer. It gives the visitor a second chance to see what you’re offering that could convert to a sale or subscriber. Thanks for the free report

I may not want to use an exit script from all my sites, but there are a lot where it just makes sense. I need to go through my inventory and figure out where to use them. A little adjustment like this could add extra dollars every week for life. Getting in the habit of doing it could easily be big bucks over time.
