Bogging And Consistency

Internet marketing and blogging seem to go hand in hand. Today there seems to be two constants among internet marketers – blogging and twittering.

There are several things that you must have in order to have a blog that will enhance your internet marketing business. At the top of that list has to be consistency. Actually, consistency should be a part of all of your internet marketing endeavors.

It helps to keep your reader’s reading your blog. If your readers are not coming back to your blog over and over again, your blog will not have the success that you envisioned.

Here are some areas where you want to strive for consistency:

1) With your attempts to brand yourself.

You need be consistent in how you represent yourself on your blog. Are you represented by your name or some other handle, like maybe “the article marketer”? Whatever it is make sure you stick with it. People will come to recognize you.

2) Layout.

This includes your style, fonts, colors, etc. Also, you need to look for a blog theme that reflects all of these. If you have a regular website, you might want your blog to match your website in as many of these areas as possible. You customers and visitors will come to recognize all of these things as representative of your business. If your business has a logo you could also use that on your blog to further help in branding your business.

Be careful not to overdo any of these elements. Of all of these colors is probably the easiest to over use. But having too many colors will make your blog confusing and hard to find the primary interest point. It will look overly busy. Too many fonts will do the same thing. Over doing these types of things will likely overwhelm your visitors.

3) Content.

What is you blog, your business, all about? If it is internet marketing then all aspects of internet marketing can be a part of your content.

On the other hand if your niche is gardening, there are still some marketing techniques that will apply, but your content should not be related to all of the normal internet marketing techniques. Your readers in this case will likely want to know more about gardening.

They will want to see posts about how to do some aspect of garden and they will want to see products geared toward some aspect of gardening.

Another aspect of your content is that needs to be consistent is your writing style. If you always write it yourself your style will likely be pretty consistent. On the other hand, if you use private label rights (PLR) content or ghostwriters, you will need to make sure that the content is consistent with your style.

For PLR you can edit it appropriately. For ghostwriters you can work with them and find one that best matches your style of writhing and saying things. In both cases you want to insure that the content is the kind that you would produce if you wrote the content. The content needs to be consistent with your message or overall theme.

Consistency will help you to develop trust with your readers. It helps to show them that you are reliable and that your message is reliable. This helps to produce trust which will benefit you internet marketing business and maintain interest in your niche. So you want to develop and maintain consistency in all that you do and I haven’t even mentioned your newsletter and any other email you send out.

5 Places To Find Content For Your Internet Marketing Efforts

There are several sources of content for those that are involved in internet marketing. Using some selected source of data, the information can be turned into quality content for your internet marketing efforts. This is far from an exhaustive list but it is likely the primary list of sources for most marketers that are trying to make money online.

Here then is a list of 5 sources for content:

1. Article Directories.

If you are just starting out this is likely one of the areas that you will use quite a bit. Many internet marketers will write articles and post them to one or several article directories. These directories will then make those articles available for people to use in their newsletters, on their blogs, in their ebooks, and others applications. This is referred to as article marketing, especially when you start submitting your own articles.

The restriction is that when you use someone else’s article, you must carry the author’s credit information along in any application that you make of the articles. This credit information is known as the resource/bio box.

2. Web searches.

An inspiring internet marketer can come up with an idea and search the internet for information on that idea. It is likely that you cannot come up with an idea for which there is not something already available on the internet.

What you do with this source is to collect a few snippets of information apply your own experience, knowledge, background, etc. into the information so that you develop content that is uniquely yours. This is like doing research on a subject and then turning that research into your own concept of that particular information.

3. Outsourcing.

To me this is the rich man’s way to get content. Many internet markets will hire what is called a ghostwriter to develop content for them. They buy the content and then they own the copyright to it. They can use it any way that they like because it is theirs.

As you have resources to do so this is a great way to obtain content because it frees up your time to so that you can work on the other aspects of your online business.

4. Private Label Rights (PLR)

It is becoming ever more popular to use Private Label Rights Content in the internet marketing world. In their efforts to provide quality content internet marketers are turning to PLR as a source for information. This has been happening for a while now.

This is a lot like outsourcing in that you are purchasing the efforts of someone else. The main difference, as I see it, is that the PLR is already available. Someone has decided to write about a subject and make the content available to people as PLR. This type of content may be free or require payment. Just make sure you follow the rights that you have to the PLR.

If you want to use private label rights to produce you quality content, you will need to rewrite it so that the final product is your own concept of the subject. Just like the research above, it’s not yours until you put forth the effort to make it so.

5. You.

Finally, there is you for the source. As you gain more and more experience you will be able to come up with your own content. When you are working in the internet marketing field, any niche, your own experience and abilities will start to produce your unique approach, methods, ideas, etc. These will just naturally lend themselves to content that is uniquely yours. This will be your best content.

Regardless of the source that you turn to in your search for content, make it yours. Then, you as an internet marketer will have content that brands you and not someone else. Unique content will also play better with the search engines.

By the way, this content came to me out of my experience and knowledge. I started writing about a totally different subject and this content just flowed to me and replaced my original idea. It will happen to you also. Now I need to go back to the original idea and develop it.

Use these sources, or others that you find, in your internet marketing efforts and you will find that your affiliate internet business online will benefit and likely become more profitably. Your relationship with your ezine subscribes will improve, your posts on your blog will draw more attention, likely your sales will increase, and other benefits will come to your internet marketing efforts to make money online.

Build Your List With Other Marketer’s Products

Private label rights have been a part of Internet Marketing for a while now. But do you use them for your marketing efforts? Should you?

Private label rights (PLR) has proved to be a very dynamic addition to the ways that you can use internet marketing to make money online. So the answer to the second question above is “Yes”. It is a very powerful source of content for your list building efforts.

In all likelihood PLR, if used right, will enhance your affiliate internet business online.

First, let’s take a look at Private label rights – the concept. A PLR product is one that you buy the product and also the rights to use the product as you want to. Then you can edit it as you see fit to make it your own. But make sure that you read the rights to know exactly what you can do with the product.

The product may be an ebook, an article, a video, an ecourse, a tutorial, etc. After you edit it you are allowed to sell it as your own, give it away, package it, etc. – depending on the rights that you have. Many times you will not be able to sell or give away the PLR itself.

That means that you cannot take the PLR product as you received it and sell or give those private label rights to someone else. The PLR are for your personal use. However, the new product you create is yours to do with as you please.

Depending on the utility you want to make of the product, you can simply put your name on it and give it away or sell it as a new product.

But, if you really want to make it uniquely yours you need to do some editing of the PLR. Then when you repackage it, combine articles into an ebook, add your affiliate links, or whatever, you will have your own product.

You might be wonder, “Why not just get resale rights to some product and sell that product?” That is a good way to go if you want to sell someone else’s product. But you will omly be able to sell the product just as it is and not change it in any way. It’s not yours. You just have the right to sell it.

But with PLR you have the right to make the product more useful to your own internet marketing efforts. It becomes more powerful to your efforts because you can do whatever you want with the PLR product because you have purchased that right.

It’s generally not a good thing to just put the PLR content straight onto you blog. You want to edit it in some way so that if reflects you and the theme of your blog. Samething
it you decide to break it down into articles – make it your article.

So back to the first question, “But do you use private label rights products for your internet marketing efforts?”  If not, I would suggest that you investigate this source of content. Now some would highly recommend that you never use PLR. Yet to me, PLR is just a different form of outsourcing.  In both cases you are paying someone else to produce content for you.

Private Label Rights, A Source For Content

With private label rights you get information to build your affiliate internet business online. In essence you get to take someone’s material and make it yours. You have an additional source to obtain content for your online efforts. This helps you in your efforts to make money online.

Now, some would tell you that you should not, ever, ever use private label rights (PLR) products. However, those same entrepreneurs will tell you that one way to obtain products, articles, etc. is to outsource in order to obtain the information.

Well, I have a surprise for you: private label rights products are just products that have already been outsourced and the owner makes them available for you to use as you please. That’s also what you get to do with outsourced products.

A caution here – always read the rights for any product that you purchase. Not all PLR packages provide the same rights.

So you purchase, use, and profit from your PLR package and you do not have to worry that you will be liable for any copyright infringement.

Understanding resale and master resale rights will provide some light on what private label rights are all about.

Resale rights are rights given by the owner of a product (ebook, for example) that allows you to take the product and sale it as if it were your product and you get to keep all the profits. You cannot claim that it is your product – you just get to market it as if it were.

Master resale rights go a little further and allow you to sell the resale rights to the product.

Master resale rights cover a large set of actions that you have with the product. Master resale rights might include any or all of the following (again read the rights that you have been given):

1. Give the Product away unaltered
2. Combine the product with other offers
3. Give the product away as a bonus item
4. Use the product as content for websites or blogs
5. Divide the product into separate articles
6. Put the rights for the material or the material itself up for auction
7. Provide the material as content for paid membership sites
8. Sell resale rights for the material
9. Change or edit the product

Master resale rights can be expensive. PLR is a way to obtain almost all of these rights because you basically have the right to do anything you want with the product.

When you edit or change the product, you make it your own unique product. Now you can make money online by using the new product any way you want – sell it, give it away, bundle it, etc.

Let’s say you were able to acquire PLR for an ebook. What are some of your options with this PLR ebook?

1. You can break the book up into articles
2. You could use a chapter of the ebook as a giveaway item to help you sell the whole ebook
3. You can edit the product, add to it, take away from it, add pictures or illustrations
4. Record it as a sound or video product

This will give you additional uses of the product or even new products.

An additional benefit of PLR is that you do not have to mention the original author, in many cases you are not allowed to do so. Just like outsourced products, any product you derive from the PLR is yours.

When you change the product so that it is unique, you have a product that you can use to brand your online business.

If you make it into an affiliate product, then your affiliate internet business online will be more profitable because your affiliates will sell it and you get part of the proceeds and your effort was minimal.

What are Private Label Rights?

First, it is important to note that all internet marketers need information for their online business. We need information for our newsletters, our websites, our blogs, our information products, our list building efforts, our ebooks, etc.

Since we are in business to make money online, we need to provide information that will be useful and beneficial to our readers and customers. In the short and the long of it, we must be authors.

As authors involved in internet marketing how do we get our information? We research. We talk to people. We read and study what others have written. We get it from our own knowledge and experiences.

One of the resources that is available for us is Private Label Rights (PLR).

Some are afraid of PLR and say they don’t use it. Yet, they will say that one way to produce a product is to outsource it. Well, PLR is just outsourcing in that the information is already available, already produced. The author of the PLR wrote it and made it available to you. So now, you don’t have to go out and find someone to write for you. You don’t have to contract the work out. You don’t have to say would you write an article or ebook for me on this subject and when we agree on what you will do and the price, I will pay you to produce the product for me.

You just pay someone who has already written something about your subject of interest and he gives you the right to use it as you like. You can just publish it again with you as the author or you can edit it to make it more like you want it.

Whither the product came from outsourcing or PLR, it has become yours to do with as you please.

It becomes a part of your research, a part of your collection of information on some subject. Now you take all of the items in your research material and mold it all together to make your own statement. Is it original? Yes, if you envelop your thoughts and do not copy it word for word.

That’s all we do with PLR. We mold it to fit the situation and message that we want to convey at the time.

The internet is the greatest source of information in the world and yet it is added to each and every day. There properly is not a subject in existence that has not been written about on the internet. And if you are willing to spend the time, you can find it. But you can bet that someone will write about it again in the future only they will put their slant and thoughts into it.

So don’t be afraid of PLR, just use it as a source and rewrite it to fit your ideas and the time and situation you are concern about.

I suspect that in the world of network marketing no subject has had more attention given to it than list building. New or different approaches come out almost daily and yet the message is the same – you must build a list.

So if you want to write about list building, do your research, find some PLR, outsource it, whatever. Then take all of the documents from your research and write your own list building article or ebook. I can almost guarantee that before the start of the New Year someone will.
