You might also want to let people know that some article sites take weeks to process articles while others are quicker. Just because they take a while, its still a good idea to post to the late posting sites as the article gets a prolonged life span, with a series of multiple small pops when they get published.

Article Marketing is one of the best ways for building long term traffic to your site.

While it is one of the most difficult things for a lot of people to do it also has one of the best payoffs. Once the article has been submitted to the article directories and starts getting pick up in syndication on other sites the traffic to your site will continue to build indefinitely.

Articles publishing are great tools to embed a few links back to your website(s) and generate some extra free traffic over time.

If I wasn’t such a lousy writer I should do it more often….

The keys are to provide good content but to leave the reader wanting more from you then a good call to action in your author bio. Just link to a solid squeeze page that offers more of what the article was on.
