Use Twitter For Business?

Yes. Just add Twitter to your set of marketing tools. You are in business to make money online. In the process you have several different methods that you use to market you affiliate internet business. Add Twitter and use The Advanced Twitter Marketing System as your guideline to making Twitter a successful addition to your marketing arsenal.

Some would tell you that you should not use Twitter to send advertisements, affiliate links, etc. They are wrong. Twitter is basically a communication tool. Using 140 characters at a time it allows you to send a message to your followers. That’s the key.

You are communicating with YOUR follows. Why are they following you? By the purpose of Twitter, they are following you because they chose to. They are expecting messages from you.

Now, where you advertise for followers (Is that a new concept?) you go after targeted followers. How do you do that?

Well first, you write a bio that tells exactly what you do and what you are interested in. For example mine at @AffiliateBus is

Internet Marketer, Affiliate Marketer, Article Marketer, list building, e-zine publisher, Internet marketer, affiliate internet business online

Now, anyone that follows me can tell very easily from reading my bio that I am into marketing on the internet and that I have a business online.

So anyone that follows me should expect that they will receive 140 character or less posts from me and that they will be related to Affiliate Internet marketing. When they receive those posts they should not be surprised or think that I am spamming them. They will be coming on a regular basis – several a day.

Second, you go after targeted followers, by using The Advanced Twitter Marketing System. This is a easy step by step process of setting up Twitter and other mostly free tools so that you target followers that are interested in what you are doing.

In my case I use The Advanced Twitter Marketing System to find other people interested in affiliate internet marketing and seek to obtain followers that are also interested in that subject.

In the end, I will market my affiliate products to them, and yes, many of them will in turn market their products to me. But I am building a list of potential customers. That’s what marketing is all about – getting your products before potential customers.

You’ve heard the old, true, and worn out, expression that, “the money is in the list?” Well, your Twitter followers are another list, just like your ezine. And along with useful information, you send them advertisements.

In that aspect, Twitter is just one of many tools that you use to attract potential customers – some will buy and some will not. However, that is true with any type of marketing effort.

So, use Twitter as a marketing tool. Use it consistently and use The Advanced Twitter Marketing System to tell you exactly how to do it. Doing so will enhance your Affiliate Internet Business Online and your attempts to make money online.
