Just like your website, remember that your visitors and your newsletter subscribers are expecting to find material that is related to the subject or theme of your business – not some other business.
Their interest is to be updated and receive information about your subject and business and their attempts to make money online in that business and not some unrelated effort or interest that you might have.

Your content will be the most important part of your newsletter and it should excite your readers and not distract them. Therefore, your articles should be well written and contain a minimum of errors. Make sure that you have checked and double checked for errors – spelling errors, grammatical errors, etc. Your reader may know what you mean but strive for correctness in all of your efforts.
3. Get your facts straight.
Do your research and insure that what you say is factual. Make sure that you provide true and complete facts and figures. It will also help your efforts to get your subscriber to open or read your email. This will help to increase the number of people that actually find your links, visit your site or blog, and then buy something.
5. Make sure you have the right to use any material you publish.
Copyrighted material does not belong to you and if you use it you must have permission. If you get an article from an article directory make sure that you publish the resource box along with the article. Not doing so or just coping someone else’s work is plagiarism. It can lead to legal problems and ruin your online business.

These are all really good points about a newsletter. I can say for myself that there a few newsletters that come out that I can’t wait to read because they usually contain great information. That is when you know you have your readers, when they look forward to your next one.

Well written and some great points.
I actually had a person unsubscribe from one of my lists because I mentioned a particular price with one of my links and when he clicked on it, the pricing for that particular product had been changed and I didn’t know it.
So I can say without a doubt, be sure that your facts and figures are what you say they are…I have since edited that email in my autoresponder to just refer to the product and not the pricing
Keep up the good work!
